When opening the computer, there is rubbing to the back of the machine. I thought this was a 'one off' so I brought back first one and exchanged, trying on the second one in the store before leaving (on a store machine!). No thank you, I am not going to ruin my custom machine. Such a shame, as the texture of the case it really nice.

I didnt expect it to perform like a bulky case either. The case fits so snugly on the laptop and relies on four really tiny catches on the bottom; those were the first to go. Now the bottom of the case doesnt stay on all of the time. Heed the other reviews that mention the screen rubbing; I should have.
This case is just garbage. Your computer can take more abuse than the case can, and if you just want a cover for your Apple so it doesnt look like everyone else's, go for it; it still looks good. Size Flaw I bought my case for my MacBook Air and at first it worked out fine. It didn't quite fit 100%. But when started using around campus, it started to cracking on t I bought my case for my MacBook Air and at first it worked out fine. It didn't quite fit 100%. But when started using around campus, it started to cracking on the corners and rubbing the hinge/back of the laptop. Now one of the corners has chipped away and it no longer fits properly. Kinda disappointed since its a product endorsed by Apple.

Does not fit the MBA I bought this case because I tend to bump the top corner of my MBA against things, same with the bottom edge. It works for screen part, but not the bottom, because the bottom case doesn't fit. It's just a tad too small, but that means it's not protected.
I also had to contact the original maker because the case had a crack in under a month. I provided pictures and received a new one (wrong colour) for no extra charge. The customer service is excellent, therefore 2 stars. But if you want to protect your MacBook Air, do not buy this. There are cheaper ones that fit better.
