So here's the deal:I bought FFXIV:ARR digitally using PSN, and I have a physical copy of Heavensward for PS4. I installed the games but it simply doesn't let me play the game, I can't even reach the log in screen, after the image of the guy with the cool helmet the screen goes black, to white, then immediately to black again, all of this with the music playing in the background and the cursor visible. After a bit of waiting (more or less 5m) the screen becomes white again with a message saying 'The following steps are required in order to begin playing Final Fantasy XIV. Please follow the onscreen instructions to complete the required procedures. Set up a Square Enix account. Link your Sony Entertainment Network account. Register your licence for Final Fantasy XIV.'
Below this message there're 3 black dots one above the other with nothing in front of them. So, I have an account in the square enix website, which I used to link with my PSN account using the linked accounts option by going into settings. If I go to 'services and options' on the website and I select ffxiv it then sends me to the mog station website where I only have the option to add a 'new service account', nothing else. Even if I click that option it then asks me to enter a registration code which I thought was the code that came with the physical copy of heavensward but It doesn't work. So what am I missing here? Because it's frustrating.Thanks in advance for all the help.
Seriously - whoever dreamt up this nightmare of a authentication procedure really needs to go back to school.Trying to play the PS4 trial version. Install it, load it. Web form registration.Ok, no big deal. Fill in the details, get email, enter code.Check for email on my phone. Nothing.Check for email on the laptop. Nothing.As far as I know, I still haven't received it an hour later, but I gave up on that.So I tried account registration via the laptop - email in use.

I just purchased FFXIV off Amazon.com this morning, I cannot even get the game installed at this point, the launcher updated and was at the point of having me sign in with an existing account, or create a new account.First: I tried using an existing account, kept getting a login failure, could not login via the launcher but could log in to the Square-enix.com site without issue. I did discover that my account did not work on the lodestone site, or the mog site either.Second: I decided I would just go ahead and create a new account, I got to the point of waiting for the code to arrive via email, and it still has not shown up it's been more than 3 hours.I do not see how to contact support from this site.I wish I would have read this thread before I purchased the game I see many people have similar or the exact same issue. I'll try to keep it short.
So I tried buying the Heavensward expansion for PS4. The game directed me to the PSN store where I purchased what it recommended to me. It had the HW logo so I thought I was good. The PSN store sold me the original FFXIV:ARR. Talked to Sony, they are refunding me and said wait 3 days for the refund since I already owned the game and had the licenses.

Its been 3 days. I got the expansion on disc this time, installed it, registered it but the damn game won't let me play. Even after I use my SE login, it tells me to create a new service account and if I want to import character data, don't start a new account. Problem is, there no other F#!/Ing options! I can't bypass it and I can only close the application.
